PROJECT
We seek an experienced Snowflake Architect to join a high-impact international data platform modernization project. The role involves leading the design and implementation of advanced data pipelines, data warehousing, and ETL processes in AWS cloud environments, ensuring performance, scalability, and high availability.

YOU WILL
- Designed and implemented scalable data warehouse and ETL solutions using Snowflake on AWS
- Develop robust data pipelines and manage data integration between multiple systems.
- Work closely with analysts, data scientists, and business teams to define and fulfill data requirements
- Ensure performance, reliability, and high availability of Snowflake data platforms.
- Optimize and troubleshoot SQL queries, pipelines, and orchestration jobs
- Use Airflow, DBT, Streamsets, and other tools to orchestrate complex workflows
- Collaborate cross-functionally with DevOps, architects, and stakeholders in an Agile setup
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends in cloud data engineering and data architecture
MUST HAVE
- 5+ years of experience in Data Engineering, including architectural responsibilities
- Expertise in Snowflake (design, development, and performance tuning)
- Strong hands-on knowledge of AWS services: S3, Glue, Lambda, Redshift
- Practical experience with SQL, Python, and ETL tools (e.g., DBT, Streamsets)
- Deep understanding of data warehousing concepts, data modeling, and data migration (especially from Oracle to Snowflake)
- Experience with orchestration tools like Airflow
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Strong focus on availability, scalability, and operability of data solutions
- Team leadership experience in complex technical environments
