We’re hiring a Senior Regulation and Search Core Developer to support the development and operation of a mobile web application built on AWS. This is a long-term opportunity for an expert in semantic technologies, search, and scalable cloud architecture. If you enjoy building intelligent, cloud-native platforms, this role is for you.

You will

• Further develop and operate all relevant software components for a mobile web application hosted on AW.S
• Design and maintain semantic search systems using Apache Solr, Apache Marmotta, and Apache ManifoldCF
• Develop backend components in Java and Kotlin
• Work with Linked Data and Linked Media to enrich and structure content
• Build and optimize CI/CD pipelines using Pipeship
• Define and maintain cloud infrastructure using AWS CloudFormation
• Collaborate with cross-functional, Agile teams to deliver reliable, scalable services
• Ensure performance, security, and high availability of the platform

Must have

• Minimum 6 years of practical experience with:
  • Apache Solr, Marmotta, ManifoldCF
  • Java and Kotlin
  • Linked Data, Linked Media, and Semantic Search
  • AWS and AWS CloudFormation
  • CI/CD tools (preferably Pipeship)
• Experience in building and operating mobile web applications on cloud infrastructure
• Business fluent or native-level German skills
