PROJECT

We are looking for an experienced Principal / Lead GenAI Software Engineer to support the development and continuous enhancement of a large-scale generative AI ecosystem used for the migration of legacy technologies into modern stacks.

The project involves building and extending an internal tool based on LLM Gemini, enabling automated migration of scripts and applications from Python into TypeScript, integrating with GCP databases, and ensuring high-quality code delivery for selected clients.

The role includes both initial development of platform components and long-term maintenance, optimization, and support for AI-driven migration workflows.

YOU WILL

• Build and extend Python-based modules for migration workflows
• Implement TypeScript integration and ensure a smooth transition from legacy scripts
• Develop chat-based interfaces with LLM Gemini for code transformation and validation
• Create testing frameworks to guarantee high-quality migrated code
• Integrate with GCP databases and cloud infrastructure
• Continuously enhance migration pipelines and AI-assisted workflows
• Expand monitoring and validation logic for migrated code
• Troubleshoot and fix issues in Python/TypeScript modules
• Optimize performance and cost (cloud resources, deployment strategies)
• Support containerization and deployment processes (ADK, Docker/Kubernetes)
• Collaborate with global teams (Ireland, USA, Kraków) on AI-driven solutions

MUST HAVE

• 5+ years of experience in software engineering (Principal / Lead level)
• Excellent knowledge of Python and TypeScript
• Strong experience with GCP (databases, cloud services)
• Practical experience with GitHub and modern CI/CD practices
• Solid understanding of LLM / GenAI systems (Gemini or equivalent)
• Experience with containerization and deployment (Docker/Kubernetes)
• Ability to design and validate high-quality code migration workflows
• Fluent in Polish and good English

NICE TO HAVE

• Experience optimizing data pipelines (Iceberg, Parquet, DynamoDB, etc.)
• Background in automotive or IoT data projects
• Experience with cost optimization for ML systems
• Experience with large-scale model deployment pipelines
