PROJECT
The Lead Java GCP Software Engineer plays a pivotal role in the organization, ensuring the highest quality of software delivery in the travel industry.
You will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining high-performance applications that support airline operations.
YOU WILL
- Collaborate with development teams, SRE team, product team, and other departments in all stages of development
- Define work items, review code, and verify the correctness of delivered tasks
- Provide technical direction to the team to manage technical challenges and risks and identify mitigation strategies
- Develop, code, tes,t and debug new complex software solutions or enhancements to existing software
- Encourages high coding standards, using best practices and high-quality
- Resolve customer complaints with software and respond to suggestions for improvements and enhancements
- Design, plan, develop, and improve applications using routine and advanced technology
MUST HAVE
- Minimum 8 years of related experience
- Experience in fast-paced Software Development in an Agile environment
- Expertise in: Java, Spring, Web Services
- Experience with tools like Git, Maven, Jenkins, and Docker
- Very good knowledge of cloud-based technologies (GCP)
- Excellent analysis and problem-solving skills
- Demonstrated experience working collaboratively in cross-functional teams
- Very good communication skills in English, both written and verbal
