We are looking for a highly experienced Lead Software Engineer to work on cutting-edge solutions in the travel industry. You will be responsible for leading the development of cloud-based applications (GCP) using an Agile methodology. Your role includes designing, coding, and testing high-quality software while ensuring best practices and technical excellence.
You will
- Build and maintain high-quality working software
- Lead collaborative coding, testing, and application development according to requirements and acceptance criteria
- Conduct meaningful unit testing
- Ensure and maintain high code quality
- Provide input for story prioritization
- Continuously improve technical practices within the team
- Attend release planning meetings and technical reviews as needed
- Provide implementation and deployment coverage
- Provide on-call coverage, including warranty support
- Take part in the estimation and sizing process
- Design, code, debug, and test applications
- Troubleshoot issues in test and production environments
- Collaborate with other development teams to deliver new capabilities
- Drive innovation to improve application stability and performance
- Understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions
- Assist in developing software technical documentation
Must have
- 10+ years of Fullstack experience in Java, Spring, React
- Expertise in CI/CD tools and testing frameworks
- Experience working with cloud technologies (GCP)
- Strong knowledge of Agile development methodologies
- Excellent self-organization skills and initiative
- Travel industry knowledge is an advantage
