PROJECT

Join an international team working on a large-scale, cloud-native platform with high scalability and availability requirements. You will play a key role in shaping modern web applications' infrastructure and deployment strategy, with a strong emphasis on automation, cloud technologies (GCP), and container orchestration. The project combines robust engineering practices with modern DevOps culture, focusing on continuous integration, delivery, and monitoring in production environments.

YOU WILL

• Design, implement, and manage cloud infrastructure with a focus on GCP
• Lead and support containerized application deployments using Kubernetes (preferably GKE)
• Work closely with development teams to automate CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions)
• Utilize Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform to build and maintain infrastructure
• Monitor and troubleshoot cloud-based applications and systems (logging, metrics, alerts)
• Support disaster recovery strategies and improve infrastructure resilience
• Mentor team members and participate in architectural discussions
• Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure system reliability, performance, and scalability

MUST HAVE

• Proven experience in Java programming
• Solid hands-on experience with cloud platforms (GCP preferred)
• Strong knowledge of Terraform or similar IaC tools
• Experience with GKE (Google Kubernetes Engine)
• Practical experience in containerizing applications and managing Kubernetes environments
• Experience with monitoring, logging, and troubleshooting in cloud environments
• Good understanding of CI/CD concepts and tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions)
• Proficient in scripting with Bash, programming in Python, and Go
• Deep knowledge of Unix/Linux operating systems
• Experience with Git (GitHub or Bitbucket)
• Familiarity with logging/monitoring tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, and ELK stack
• Knowledge of load balancing and disaster recovery strategies
• Good English communication skills
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills

NICE TO HAVE

• Previous work with infrastructure for revenue-critical applications
• Understanding of the architecture of scalable, cloud-hosted web applications
• Exposure to DevOps practices in regulated industries (e.g., finance, healthcare)
