Summary

We are looking for an Engineering Manager with a strong technical background who will be responsible not only for team management but also for technical direction and architecture ownership. In this role, you will work closely with the client, stakeholders, and engineering teams, having a real impact on the software development process and technology decisions. This is a role for someone who understands the software development lifecycle from a technical perspective and can combine engineering expertise with team leadership.

YOU WILL

• Manage and lead two engineering teams, ensuring high-quality delivery, architecture ownership, and technical development of the products
• Take responsibility for architectural decisions and the overall technical direction of the solutions
• Collaborate with business and technical stakeholders and act as a communication bridge between engineering teams and the business
• Support teams across the full software development lifecycle – from requirements analysis, through development, to deployment and maintenance
• Ensure engineering best practices, code quality, development processes, and effective team organization
• Combine people management with a strong technical role – not only managing people but also having a real impact on technical solutions and architecture

MUST HAVE

• Experience as an Engineering Manager, Technical Manager, or Technical Project Manager
• Strong technical background and hands-on experience in software development (e.g., as a Developer, Tech Lead, or Architect)
• Very good understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and experience working in a software delivery environment
• Experience in making or contributing to architectural decisions
• Experience in managing technical teams
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
• Technical education (e.g., Computer Science, Telecommunications, Engineering, Mathematics, or related field)

NICE TO HAVE

• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments
• Experience working with clients and in international environments
• Previous experience as a Tech Lead or Architect
• Ability to combine business and technical perspectives
• Experience in scaling teams or building teams from scratch
