Project

There are two projects unit you’ll be involved in:


A consent/privacy platform – a platform where users store their consent. It’s a web application, deployed in production, stable, and does not require much development. However, we need to work on the know-how and be able to extend it if needed.


A data platform – a platform that aims to provide business insights like KPIs, funnels, and reports to different business units. The plan is also to use ML tools in the future. The data platform consists of several components – responsible for different technical activities like data collection, data transformation, data streaming, reporting queries, and reports.


Responsibilities

  • Maintenance and development of high-availability software infrastructure in hybrid cloud, including globally distributed VMware clusters and AWS
  • Maintenance, administration, and development of Linux-based infrastructure
  • Maintain and develop a virtualization platform based on VMWare and define Infrastructure as code processes
  • Automation and development of processes and routines to maintain network and support systems


We are looking for someone with:

  • Higher degree in Software Engineering / Computer Science or related field. M.Sc. is an advantage
  • Strong infrastructure background, including catalog services, IAM, and backup
  • Data processing framework (Kafka Streams, Apache Spark)
  • Distributed systems, Fault-tolerance (Druid, Kafka, Zookeeper)
  • DBs (PostgreSQL, windowing functions)
  • Storage (S3)
  • Programming language (functional, JVM-language, Python)
  • Good understanding of the concept of Infrastructure as Code (IaC)
  • Hands-on experience with one or more IaC platforms (Ansible, Terraform, Puppet, Chef) and Linux management
  • Experience in working with Docker containers
  • Familiarity with Kubernetes/Openshift is an advantage
  • Experience in on-premises and cloud software infrastructure operations, preferably VMware and AWS
  • You have excellent knowledge of the English language, written and spoken
