PROJECT

As a Cloud Engineer, you will build and maintain the cloud infrastructure at a German automotive company. The company offers a broad portfolio of connected products and apps in their digital cars and related customer touchpoints. Most of those products and apps rely on cloud-based backend services that are developed and operated by their organizational unit.


YOU WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR

  • Designing and deployment of cloud infrastructure
  • Configuration and management of cloud resources such as virtual servers, databases, networks, containers, etc.
  • Monitoring and scaling: tracking infrastructure performance, analyzing metrics, and responding to load changes
  • Securing cloud infrastructure
  • Automation and CI/CD: using tools and scripts to automate deployment processes and Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment
  • Technical support and troubleshooting


MUST HAVE

  • Higher degree in Computer Science, Machine Learning, or a comparable field of study
  • At least 3 years of experience as a professional Cloud or ML Engineer
  • Advanced knowledge in at least one public cloud (preferably AWS)
  • Hands-on experience with Terraform, Docker, and Kubernetes
  • Experience with Java
  • Ability to use CI/CD solutions
  • Extensive professional experience with software engineering, e.g. programming in Python, Shell scripting
  • Experience in Agile software development
  • Business-fluent English is required, and German would be an advantage
