PROJECT

We are looking for an AppOps (Application Administrator) to join a data center migration program supporting critical systems in the payment card (issuing & acquiring) domain.

The role focuses on application migration and operational support for systems responsible for transaction authorization and payment processing, including both locally developed and vendor-based solutions.

You will work in an international environment, collaborating with technical teams, vendors, and project managers to ensure smooth migration and continuity of critical business services.

YOU WILL

• Act as AppOps for application migration within a data center migration program
• Administer, configure, and maintain applications in the payment card issuing and acquiring domain
• Monitor application environments to ensure performance, availability, and stability
• Support production systems by resolving incidents and problems
• Verify and implement changes delivered to production environments
• Collaborate closely with Application & Middleware teams on BAU activities
• Work with Project Managers to support build, test, and migration activities
• Identify and resolve technical issues and blockers during migration
• Prepare and maintain technical documentation (Confluence)
• Cooperate with international teams and external vendors

MUST HAVE

• Experience in application operations / AppOps / application support roles
• Hands-on experience in application migration projects (e.g. data center migration)
• Strong scripting/database skills:
  • PL/SQL or T-SQL
  • Perl / PowerShell / Bash / Shell / Python
• Understanding of:
  • high-availability systems and performance monitoring
  • transactional systems (preferably payment processing)
  • infrastructure and networking (load balancing, TLS, etc.)
• Ability to diagnose and solve technical issues in production environments
• Experience working in international environments with multiple stakeholders
• Very good communication skills
• Fluent Polish and English
