PROJECT
We are looking for a Software Architect to join the company's team and help shape the future of Infotainment products for the company's automotive partners. As a key member of the company's Global Engineering Services organization, you will be responsible for defining and documenting software architecture that meets automotive quality standards, leading design activities, and resolving complex technical issues.
YOU WILL
- Lead the software architecture planning, design, and implementation process.
- Analyze project requirements and define software architecture requirements
- Design and document the high-level software architecture of the company's products
- Allocate functionality to components and define software interfaces between them
- Incorporate requirements traceability into the software architecture
- Interface with customers and suppliers on a technical level
- Optimize system performance and support teams in resolving complex issues
MUST HAVE
- 8+ years of experience developing highly scalable multi-threaded software, preferably for embedded systems
- Experience in a similar role (Architect, Senior Developer) or a proven track record of defining and documenting software architecture for complex systems
- Strong leadership abilities in directing technical activities and documenting technical issues
- Experience with formal UML architectural design tools such as Enterprise Architect
- Strong analytical capabilities for identifying and resolving engineering tradeoffs
- Familiarity with requirements analysis process and tools
- Experience with system profiling and software static analysis tools
