Project

We seek a Senior Search Developer to join an international project focused on intelligent data processing, search infrastructure, and semantic web technologies. If you're passionate about building scalable, semantic-aware systems, this role is for you.

You will

• Design, develop, and maintain search solutions using Apache Solr and the Semantic Search techniques
• Work with Apache Marmotta and Apache ManifoldCF to manage Linked Data and metadata integration.
• Build scalable applications using Java and Kotlin
• Integrate Linked Media and support semantic enrichment processes
• Contribute to CI/CD pipelines using Pipeship and manage infrastructure with AWS CloudFormation
• Deploy and maintain solutions in AWS environments
• Collaborate with cross-functional, multilingual teams in an Agile setting
• Support the knowledge graph and semantic layer initiatives across multiple systems.

Must have

• Min. 6 years of hands-on experience in the following:
  • Apache Solr, Apache Marmotta, Apache ManifoldCF
  • Java & Kotlin
  • Linked Data / Semantic Web technologies
  • AWS and AWS CloudFormation
  • CI/CD pipelines (preferably with Pipeship)
• Strong understanding of semantic search and Linked Media architecture
• Business fluent or native German language skills
