PROJECT

We are looking for a Senior Java GCP Developer to join a key project in Kraków for a global travel technology company. You will be part of a highly collaborative team building cloud-native applications, supporting core travel functionalities, and operating in a modern, Agile environment.

The role includes a blend of development, cloud engineering, and ownership of deployment and support processes.

YOUR ROLE

• Develop backend solutions using Java, Spring, and microservices architecture
• Build and maintain cloud-native services in GCP (or similar cloud platforms)
• Work with CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions or Jenkins
• Collaborate in an Agile environment with teams across multiple time zones
• Write and maintain clean, efficient, and testable code
• Participate in sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives
• Cooperate closely with DevOps engineers and contribute to infrastructure via Terraform and Kubernetes
• Be available for on-call rotation to support deployed applications
• Ensure continuous delivery and smooth operation of services
• Provide support and technical guidance to team members

MUST HAVE

• 6+ years of commercial experience in Java development
• Experience in building microservices and working with Spring Framework
• Proficiency in CI/CD, automated testing tools, and version control
• Good knowledge of GCP or another cloud platform (AWS/Azure)
• Familiarity with GitHub Actions or Jenkins
• Experience with Terraform and Kubernetes
• Strong self-organization and communication skills
• Fluency in English and at least basic Polish
• Flexibility to work early mornings (to overlap with Bangalore) and/or late afternoons (to overlap with Dallas)

NICE TO HAVE

• Experience in the travel/airline industry
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies
• Prior involvement in globally distributed teams
