Project

Join the Video Devices R&D organization developing next-generation fixed and body-worn camera solutions used by public safety, healthcare, transportation, and enterprise customers worldwide. The Camera Firmware Team builds embedded software for smart cameras, working with advanced video technologies, Linux systems, and modern C++.

You will

• Implement advanced software modules using modern C++ design patterns
• Develop and debug Linux device drivers
• Create software architecture and algorithm design documentation
• Maintain and improve build systems (Make, CMake, Python, Docker)
• Conduct peer code reviews and ensure compliance with standards and best practices
• Participate in full feature lifecycle: design, development, integration, deployment, support

Must have

• Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or related technical field
• 4+ years of experience in programming C/C++
• Strong C++ skills (C++17 experience preferred)
• Experience with scripting languages, especially Python
• Solid understanding of algorithms, data structures, and software design principles
• Familiarity with modern software engineering practices, build environments, and automated testing
• Fluent English and Polish

Nice to have

• Experience with embedded Linux development for ARM processors
• Knowledge of OS concepts: processes, threads, mutexes, interrupts, exception handling
• Understanding of digital imaging, video/audio coding, and video streaming
• Experience with TCP/IP and network programming
