Our team develops and supports the optimization components across many product areas including airline crew scheduling, airport resource management, and operations recovery.
YOU WILL
- Designs, implements, tests, and debugs optimization software used to solve complex problems in the airline industry
- Makes recommendations to improve the design and quality of models
- Performs applied research and designs and develops new algorithms and methodologies.
MUST HAVE
- Masters/Ph. D in Operations Research, Decision Analysis, Mathematics, Statistics or related field
- Advanced knowledge in C++/Java and associated development tools
- 8+ years of software development experience with a record of delivering successful products and developing complex optimization algorithm
- Good communication skills; written and verbal
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
NICE TO HAVE
- Experience in simulation, big data management, artificial intelligence, and machine learning
- Experience with optimization solvers (CPLEX, Gurobi) for LP/IP
- Experience with solving large-scale optimization using decomposition algorithms and other advanced OR techniques for linear and non-linear optimization
- Experience in Cloud software/platform solution implementation
- Experience with containerization
- Multi-threaded application development
- Working knowledge of AGILE development
- Ability to write well-tested code
