ROLE OVERVIEW

A highly technical and collaborative resource responsible for designing, building, and maintaining sophisticated Workday solutions to optimize global HR and Recruitment processes. This role bridges the gap between complex talent acquisition needs and technical execution, while also bringing in expertise in general Workday HCM.


YOU WILL

  • Process Optimization & Talent Workflows: Configure and develop Workday business processes to streamline Workday Core HR and Workday Recruit workflows (e.g., Job Requisitions, Offer Integrations, and Candidate Management) to automate repetitive tasks and reduce manual data entry.
  • Advanced Reporting & Analytics: Create and maintain advanced Workday reports, including Dashboards, Composite Reports, and Matrix Reports to deliver actionable insights on time-to-fill and candidate pipelines.
  • Business Analysis & Scoping: Serve as a Business Analyst, working directly with Recruiting Leads, Talent Acquisition, and HRBPs to define project scope and gather technical specifications.
  • Quality Assurance & Testing: Build and execute QA unit/system test plans for Recruit-to-Hire integrations and create robust User Acceptance Testing (UAT) plans to guide recruiters through system validation.
  • Production Deployment: Manage the deployment and monitoring of developed solutions within PROD tenants.
  • Global Collaboration: Ensure effective collaboration across NA, EMEA, and APAC time zones during overlapping USA business hours.
  • Team Development: Mentor and train the HR Tech team to elevate expertise in Workday HCM and Recruiting module configurations and Workday Studio.


MUST HAVE

  • Experience implementing new or enhancement features for Workday Recruit, including integration work and workflow automations,
  • Experience implementing new or enhancement feature requirements for one or more additional Workday HCM modules: Core HR, Time and Absence, Payroll, Compensation, Talent
  • Workday Studio: Deep expertise in developing and debugging complex integrations, particularly for third-party background check providers, job boards, and E-Verify.
  • Workday Recruiting Configuration: Proven ability to configure and optimize multi-step Recruiting Business Processes, including Candidate Stage movements and Offer Approval chains, as well as other HCM processes that impact the lifecycle of an employee from candidate to offboarding.
  • Workday Reporting: Expert-level skill in creating custom reports and calculated fields and combining unrelated data sources (e.g., Worker and Candidate data) for advanced analytics.
  • Data Technologies: XML, XSLT, XPATH, and JSON for integration mapping and transformation.


NICE TO HAVE

  • Workday Security: Expertise in configuring security groups (e.g., Recruiter, Recruiting Coordinator) and domain security policies
  • Integrations & RaaS: Proficiency in building EIBs (Inbound/Outbound) for mass candidate uploads and Custom Reports as a Service (RaaS) for external applicant tracking syncs.
  • AI & Automation: Experience using AI tools (e.g., Gemini, ChatGPT) to analyze recruitment documentation, generate test cases for hiring workflows, and identify automation opportunities.
  • Stakeholder Management: Excellent communication skills when working directly with Talent Acquisition and Finance stakeholders.
