Project
As a Service Engineer, you will work in an operations team to support our operations teams in Munich. You will be supporting mission-critical applications and the infrastructure of our global enterprise customers.
You will
- Perform deployment of the infrastructure and services ( GitHub Actions + Kubernetes + AWS)
- Handle Incidents and Changes of 24x7x365 mission-critical infrastructure
- Work with 3rd-level teams to solve incidents
- Analyze and troubleshoot incidents using Grafana, Kibana, and Prometheus monitoring tools
- Implement change tasks according to the given runbooks
Must have
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science / Information Technology / Engineering
- About 2 years of experience in a similar position
- Thorough knowledge of Linux, preferably RedHat and SUSE
- Experience with Docker/Podman
- Experience with ticketing systems (Service Now)
- Good networking know-how: TCP/IP, DNS, HTTPS
- Basic experience in monitoring tools like Nagios, Prometheus, Kibana/ELK Stack
- Basic experience with AWS (EKS, ECR, CloudWatch, DynamoDB, Lambda, RDS, SQS)
- Basic knowledge of GitHub CI/CD
- Willingness to work on weekends and holidays
- Fluency in English
- Team player with good communication skills
Nice to have
- Good knowledge of scripting languages like Shell, Python
- Experience in Java-based application support
- ArgoCD
- German
