Project

You will join a team responsible for building and modernizing backend systems based on microservices architecture. The project focuses on developing scalable Java-based services while ensuring high software quality through advanced test automation frameworks. A key objective is migrating legacy solutions to modern API-driven architectures and increasing Straight-Through-Processing (STP) capabilities.

You will

• Develop and maintain backend services and microservices using Java (11/17/21)
• Design and implement automated testing frameworks to ensure software quality
• Contribute to migration from legacy systems to modern, API-based architecture
• Work with RESTful services and integration layers
• Collaborate with development and QA teams to improve testing processes
• Optimize system performance and reliability
• Work with databases and write efficient SQL queries
• Use Unix-based environments and command-line tools in daily work

Must have

• 5 - 10 years of experience in backend development
• Strong knowledge of Java (Java 11+, preferably 17+)
• Hands-on experience in test automation (framework design and implementation)
• Experience with REST APIs and microservices architecture
• Good knowledge of Git
• Experience with SQL and databases (preferably Oracle)
• Comfortable working in Unix/Linux environments
• Experience with Spring / Spring Boot
• Fluent English and Polish

Nice to have

• Experience with Test-Driven Development (TDD)
• Knowledge of scripting languages (Python, Bash)
• Experience working in QA or closely with QA teams
• Understanding of application monitoring tools
