PROJECT

We need an experienced data engineer to help scale our Databricks and dbt infrastructure. Join our data platform team for a hands-on implementation project with immediate impact.


We're looking for a skilled data engineer to provide additional bandwidth to our data platform team during a critical growth phase. This is a hands-on consultant position focused on implementing and optimizing our modern data stack. You'll work alongside our tech lead to deliver key migrations and transformations that will shape our analytics capabilities.

YOU WILL

  • Build data ingestion pipelines to bronze layer using DLT and dlthub
  • Implement robust transformations with dbt
  • Migrate existing pipelines to Unity Catalog-based workspaces
  • Optimize Databricks workspace performance and reduce costs
  • Implement infrastructure-as-code using Databricks Asset Bundles
  • Establish IAM, data governance, and security best practices

MUST HAVE

  • Databricks - Minimum 1 year hands-on experience
  • dbt - Minimum 1 year building production pipelines
  • Python and SQL - 3+ years of solid experience
  • Cloud platforms - Working knowledge of AWS, Azure, or GCP


NICE TO HAVE

  • AWS
  • Terraform/Terragrunt/IaC
  • Configuring CI/CD workflows (we use GitHub Actions)
  • Cloud cost optimization experience
