Essenstial job requirements:
- English at least on upper-intermediate level.
- Cisco CCNA (or equivalent) qualification.
- Experience in networking and security.
- Linux/Unix foundations.
- Good knowledge and experience of networking and security services.
- Good knowledge of the physical configuration of IT systems.
- Experience of a client / server environment.
- Skills and experience in one or more of the following technical areas:
- network configurations and protocols,
- hardware technologies,
- operating systems.
- Ability to structure and draft technical documentation.
Additional job requirements:
- Knowledge or experience in Cisco, H3C, 3Com, HP, Nortel, Avaya network solutions.
- Knowledge or experience in load balancing and WAN optimization solutions.
- Cisco CCNP (or the equivalent) qualification.
- Knowledge in management network tools.
- Second foreign language (French or German).
Position Description:
- The primary purpose of the Network Engineer – Networking Specialist is to provide technical support on such network appliances as access points, switches, routers, load balancers and traffic optimizers. This support is provided to a large number of customers ensuring that the service meets or exceeds the established Service Level Agreements and quality standards.
