Essenstial job requirements:
- English at least on upper-intermediate level.
- Good knowledge of LAN/WAN and TCP/IP technologies and protocols.
- Familiarity with Cisco protocols and routers/switches management.
- Basic knowledge of networking and/or security services.
- Basic knowledge of the physical configuration of IT systems.
- Experience of a client / server environment.
- Skills and experience in one or more of the following technical areas:
- network configurations and protocols,
- hardware technologies,
- operating systems.
- Ability to structure and draft technical documentation.
- Ability to identify and troubleshoot network problems.
Additional job requirements:
- Experience in Cisco, Juniper network and security solutions.
- Cisco CCNA (or the equivalent) qualification.
- Knowledge in management network tools.
- Second foreign language (French or German).
Position Description:
- The primary purpose of the Network Operator is to provide initial technical support on all network and security appliances and procedural control over registered issues. This support is provided to a large number of customers ensuring that the service meets or exceeds the established Service Level Agreements and quality standards.
